Own by Catch Ride Privacy Policy

Effective: August 4, 2026  ·  Last Updated: August 4, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Catch Ride LLC collects, uses, discloses, and protects information in connection with the Own by Catch Ride application. Please read it carefully, including Section 16 (Children's and Minors' Privacy; Parental Consent), which describes how we handle information relating to minors and the role of the parent or guardian. By creating an account or using Own, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1.Definitions

The following definitions apply throughout this Privacy Policy. Additional terms may be defined in context where they first appear.

"App" or "Own" means the Own by Catch Ride web application published by Catch Ride LLC and available at ownbycatchride.co, together with any related mobile application we may offer in the future, and including all related features, content, and updates, regardless of the device, browser, or platform through which it is accessed.

"Catch Ride," "we," "us," and "our" mean Catch Ride LLC, a South Carolina limited liability company, which is the entity responsible for Own and the controller of personal information processed through the App.

"Account Holder," "Guardian," "you," and "your" mean the adult individual (at least eighteen years of age) who creates and controls an account and uses Own, including a parent or legal guardian who creates Junior Access for a minor.

"Junior," "Junior User," or "Minor" means an individual under the age of eighteen (18) for whom a Guardian creates and controls limited access to the App under the Guardian's account.

"Junior Access" means the limited login or profile that a Guardian creates, configures, controls, and may remove for a Junior under the Guardian's account.

"Horse Records" means the records and documentation about horses that you store in the App, including identifiers, health and veterinary information, documents, and related records.

"Personal Information" means information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, with a particular individual or household. Personal Information does not include information that has been aggregated or de-identified such that it can no longer reasonably be associated with an individual.

"Sensitive Information" means categories of information that we treat with additional care, including health, veterinary, and medical records; certain documents you upload; financial and budgeting information; and any information relating to a Minor.

"Services" means the features, functionality, and content made available through Own, including, without limitation, horse records and documentation, health and veterinary recordkeeping, document storage, expense tracking and budgeting tools, goal-setting and organizational tools, reminders, and other current or future features that we may make available through the App from time to time.

"Subscription" means a paid plan that provides access to certain Services, if and when offered, billed through our payment processor or, where applicable, an app store.

"Device" means the computer, smartphone, tablet, or other device you use to access Own through a web browser or, where available, a mobile application.

2.Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to Personal Information that we collect or process through Own and through your interactions with us in connection with the App, including when you contact our support team. It describes our practices as the controller of that information. Own is currently provided as a web application accessed through a web browser, and this Privacy Policy is written to apply equally to any mobile application we may offer in the future.

Own is an owner-facing tool that helps horse owners and their families organize horse records, documentation, health information, expenses, budgeting, goals, and related information. Much of the information you enter concerns you, your household, your horses, and—where you choose to record it—minors in your family and third parties such as veterinarians and service providers. When you enter information about another person, including a Minor for whom you are the parent or guardian, you are responsible for ensuring that you have an appropriate basis to provide it, and you consent, on behalf of any Minor, to our processing of that information as described in this Privacy Policy.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own or control, including any app store through which we may offer a mobile version in the future, and any third-party websites, products, or services you may access through links or integrations, each of which has its own privacy policy. It also does not apply to information you choose to share with others outside of Own.

If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use Own.

3.Information We Collect

We collect information in several ways: information you (or, where you allow it, a Junior) provide directly; information generated through your use of the App; and information collected automatically. The categories below describe the types of information involved. The specific information we hold depends on how you use the Services and the features you choose to enable.

Information you provide directly. This includes the information you supply when you create and configure your account, create Junior Access, and enter records into the App, including horse records and identifiers, health and veterinary information, documents, expenses and budgeting data, memberships and registrations, show entries and results, provider contact information, photos, notes, goals, and reminders.

Information a Junior provides. Where you create Junior Access and allow a Junior to use the App, the Junior may enter information such as their own riding and training notes, goals, and information about horses you have assigned to them. You control what a Junior can access and enter.

Information generated through your use of the App. As you use Own to organize records, track expenses, set goals, and manage documentation, the App creates and stores records reflecting that activity, associated with your account.

Information collected automatically. When you use Own, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical and usage information about your Device and interactions with the App, as described in Section 4.

We do not knowingly collect more information than is reasonably necessary to provide and improve the Services, support our Users, secure the App, and meet our legal obligations. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from a Minor except through a Guardian, as described in Section 16.

4.Information Collected Automatically

When you use Own, certain information is collected automatically through standard web and software technologies. This information helps us operate the App reliably, diagnose problems, protect against misuse, and understand how the Services are used. Automatically collected information may include:

Device and technical information, such as device type, browser type and version, operating system, unique browser, device, or installation identifiers, language and region settings, time zone, and network or general connection information.

Usage information, such as the features you access, the actions you take within the App, the dates and times of your interactions, pages or screens viewed, session duration, and similar information about how you navigate and use the Services.

Diagnostic and performance information, such as crash reports, error logs, performance metrics, and other technical data that help us identify and resolve problems and maintain the stability of the App.

Approximate location information that may be inferred from your Device settings or network connection (for example, from your IP address or region settings). Own does not collect precise geolocation data unless a feature that requires it is introduced in the future and you grant the necessary permission.

We limit the automatic collection of information associated with Junior Access, and we do not use automatically collected information to direct advertising to Juniors. See Sections 10 and 16 for more detail.

5.Account Information

To use Own, you must create a Guardian account. Authentication is performed using an email address and a password, you must verify your email address, and we use Supabase, a third-party platform, to provide secure authentication for the App. During registration, we ask for a date of birth; if a prospective user is under 18, we require a parent or legal guardian to verify their email and complete registration as the Account Holder, as described in Section 16. When you register and maintain your account, we collect and store:

Your email address, which serves as your primary account identifier and the means by which we communicate with you about your account, any Subscription, and the Services.

Your password in a protected form. We store passwords using industry-standard hashing and never store your password in plain text. We cannot recover your password for you; if you forget it, you can reset it through the account recovery process.

Profile details that you choose to provide, such as your name, household or barn information, contact information, and preferences.

Account status information, such as any Subscription status, plan type, and records of your interactions with our support team.

Junior Access. When you create Junior Access, we collect the information you provide to set it up, such as the Junior's first name or display name and login credentials you create for them, along with the permissions you configure. We collect this information from you, the Guardian, and treat it in accordance with Section 16.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account, including activity through Junior Access. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us promptly at the address in Section 26.

6.Horse Records and Documentation

A core function of Own is to help you keep your horses' records and documentation organized. The information you choose to store may include:

Horse names, descriptions, and identifiers, such as registration and breed-association numbers, USEF and FEI numbers, microchip numbers, and passport information.

Ownership, lease, and association details, including bills of sale, lease agreements, and related records.

Documents you upload, such as Coggins tests, health certificates, insurance documents, registration papers, x-rays and imaging, and other files.

Memberships and registrations, show entries and results, and related organizational records.

Provider contact information, such as the names and contact details of veterinarians, farriers, trainers, and other service providers that you choose to record for your own reference.

You decide what to enter into Own. You are responsible for the accuracy of that information and for ensuring you are permitted to store it, including any documents or contact details that concern third parties. We process this information solely to provide the Services to you and as otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. We do not use it for our own independent marketing purposes, and we do not sell it.

7.Health, Veterinary, and Medical Information

Own allows you to store health, veterinary, medical, and rehabilitation records relating to your horses, such as vaccination and treatment history, medications, veterinary notes, rehabilitation plans, diagnostic results, and related documents. We treat this information as Sensitive Information and apply the security measures described in Section 19.

This information generally concerns animals rather than individuals. However, where it is linked to a person (for example, a Minor's riding restrictions or a provider's contact details), the associated details may constitute Personal Information and are treated accordingly. Own is a recordkeeping tool, is not a medical or veterinary record system, and does not provide veterinary or medical advice; you are responsible for the health and care decisions you make and should consult a licensed veterinarian.

We process health and veterinary information solely to provide the Services to you, and we do not sell it or use it to direct advertising to you or any Junior.

8.Financial and Budgeting Information

Own includes expense-tracking and budgeting tools. The information you choose to store may include expenses, costs, budgets, financial goals, invoices and bills you record, payment history you enter, and related notes. We treat this information as Sensitive Information.

Own is not a payment processor for your recorded expenses, and any budgeting or cost figures the App generates are estimates for your convenience only, as described in our Terms and Conditions. Access to Own requires a paid Subscription, and payment transactions are processed by our payment processor, Stripe (and, if we offer a mobile application in the future, potentially by an app store for purchases made through it); we do not collect or store your full payment card number, which is handled by Stripe or the applicable app store under its own terms and privacy policy.

You may choose to hide financial, cost, or budgeting information from a Junior, and where you do so, we will not display that information within that Junior's access. We process financial and budgeting information solely to provide the Services to you, and we do not sell it.

9.Photos, Documents, and Camera Access

Own allows you to add photos and upload documents to your records. You can upload images and files from your Device through your browser's file picker, and, where your browser supports it and you grant permission, capture new photos or scans using your Device's camera.

When you use your camera, your browser will ask for your permission, and we access the camera only while you are actively using a feature that requires it and only to capture the image you choose. Photos and documents you save are stored as part of your account records, using our third-party storage provider, and are used to provide the relevant feature. We do not access your camera in the background. You can grant, manage, or revoke camera access at any time through your browser settings; if you decline camera access, you can still use Own and upload existing images or files.

Photos and documents you upload may contain Sensitive Information (for example, medical imaging or documents that identify a person). You are responsible for what you choose to upload, and we treat uploaded documents and images with the security measures described in Section 19.

10.Analytics and Diagnostics

We use analytics and diagnostic tools to understand how Own is used, to improve the Services, and to identify and fix technical problems. We use PostHog as our product analytics provider, and PostHog and other providers may collect the technical, usage, diagnostic, and performance information described in Section 4 on our behalf and under our instructions.

We use analytics and diagnostic information to measure how Users interact with the App in the aggregate, to detect and resolve crashes and errors, and to plan improvements and new features. We seek to minimize the personal information processed for analytics and to rely on aggregated or de-identified information where reasonably practicable. We do not use analytics information to sell information about you or to serve you third-party behavioral advertising, and we do not use analytics to direct advertising to any Junior. We do not enable third-party product analytics to collect personal information through Junior Access.

We may add, remove, or change analytics and diagnostics providers over time. When we make material changes that affect how your information is processed, we will update this Privacy Policy in accordance with Section 25.

11.Cookies and Similar Technologies

Own is a web application, and we and our service providers use cookies and similar technologies—such as browser cookies, local storage, and similar identifiers—to operate the App, keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the App, and understand how the Services are used.

We use these technologies to enable core functionality, such as authentication and session management; to remember your settings and preferences; to analyze usage, performance, and traffic patterns; and to detect and prevent fraud and technical problems. You can usually control or delete cookies and clear local storage through your browser settings. If you disable or reject certain technologies, some features of the App may not function as intended. We do not use cookies or similar technologies to serve third-party behavioral advertising, and we do not sell information collected through these technologies.

Do Not Track and similar signals. Because there is no common industry standard for how to interpret browser "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals, the App does not currently respond to DNT signals. You can still manage cookies and similar technologies through your browser settings as described above.

12.How We Use Information

We use the information described in this Privacy Policy for the following purposes:

To provide the Services. We use your information to operate Own, authenticate your account, store and display your records, and make the App's features—including, without limitation, horse records and documentation, health and veterinary recordkeeping, document storage, expense tracking and budgeting, goal-setting, reminders, and other features made available through the App—available to you and to any Junior Access you configure.

To manage your account and any Subscription. We use your information to administer your account and Junior Access, provide access to any paid features, process Subscription status updates, and communicate with you about your account.

To support you. We use your information to respond to inquiries, troubleshoot problems, and provide customer support, including sending transactional and service emails through our email provider.

To improve and develop the Services. We use usage, analytics, and diagnostic information to understand how the App is used, fix problems, and develop new features.

To secure the Services. We use information to protect the integrity and security of the App, detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access, and enforce our terms and policies.

To communicate with you. We use your contact information to send service-related communications about the App, your account, any Subscription, security, and changes to our terms or policies. Where we send any optional or promotional communications, we do so consistent with your preferences and applicable law, and you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us. We do not send marketing communications to Juniors.

To comply with legal obligations. We use information as necessary to comply with applicable laws, respond to lawful requests, and protect our legal rights.

We do not sell your Personal Information or the information of any Junior, and we do not use your records or a Junior's information for third-party advertising.

13.Legal Bases for Processing

Own is offered primarily to users in the United States. Where data protection laws such as the European Union or United Kingdom General Data Protection Regulation apply, we rely on the following legal bases: performance of a contract, to provide the Services you request and administer your account; legitimate interests, to secure and improve the App, provide support, and protect against fraud and misuse, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights; consent, where required, including for optional permissions such as camera access and for the processing of a Minor's information based on parental consent; and compliance with legal obligations. Where you provide information about a Minor or another person, you are responsible for ensuring you have an appropriate legal basis to do so, and we process it on your behalf to provide the Services.

14.Sharing of Information

We do not sell your Personal Information or any Junior's information, and we do not share it except as described in this Privacy Policy. We may share information:

With service providers. We share information with the third-party vendors and service providers who perform services on our behalf, such as authentication, database, and storage; email delivery; analytics and diagnostics; and payment processing. These providers are described in Section 15.

At your direction. We share information when you direct us to, or when sharing is an inherent part of a feature you use—for example, when you export or share a document or record.

For legal reasons. We may disclose information if we believe in good faith that doing so is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or an enforceable governmental request; to enforce our terms and policies; to detect, prevent, or address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Catch Ride, our Users, or others.

In connection with a business transaction. We may share or transfer information in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or other business transaction, as described in Section 23.

Within the Catch Ride family, with your direction or consent. Own is part of the Catch Ride family of products. If we later enable optional data sharing or synchronization between Own and other Catch Ride products, we will do so only where you enable it or as otherwise permitted by applicable law, and we will provide notice and, where required, obtain consent before your information becomes subject to materially different handling.

With your consent. We may share information for other purposes with your consent or at your direction.

When we share information with service providers, we do so under contractual and technical safeguards designed to ensure the information is used only to provide services to us and is protected appropriately.

15.Third-Party Service Providers

We rely on a limited number of trusted third-party service providers to operate Own. These providers process information on our behalf and under our instructions and are authorized to use it only as necessary to perform services for us. The providers we currently use include:

Supabase. We use Supabase to provide authentication, database, and file storage services and to host the backend data that supports the App, including your account, horse records, documents, health and financial records, and Junior Access information.

Resend. We use Resend to send transactional and service-related emails, such as email verification, account notices, and support communications.

PostHog. We use PostHog for product analytics and diagnostics, to understand how the App is used and to improve it, as described in Section 10.

Stripe. We use Stripe to process payments where applicable. Stripe handles your payment details under its own terms and privacy policy; we do not receive or store your full payment card details. Payments may also be processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play Store where a purchase is made through the applicable Platform.

Apple App Store and Google Play (future mobile application). If we offer Own as a mobile application in the future, Apple or Google may process app downloads or in-app purchases under their own terms and privacy policies.

We may add, remove, or change service providers from time to time as we improve and maintain the App. We select providers that we believe maintain appropriate security and privacy practices, and we limit the information shared with them to what is necessary. If we add a new category of provider that materially changes how your information is processed, we will update this Privacy Policy in accordance with Section 25.

16.Children's and Minors' Privacy; Parental Consent

Own is designed for horse owners and their families, and we know that many riders are minors. We handle information relating to minors with particular care and in accordance with applicable law, including the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA") in the United States.

No standalone accounts for minors. Only an adult (at least eighteen years of age) may create and hold an account. We do not knowingly allow a minor to register for or maintain a standalone account. A minor may access the App only through Junior Access that a Guardian creates and controls under the Guardian's account.

How registration and parental consent work. During registration, we ask for a date of birth to determine whether a prospective user is under the age of eighteen (18). If the prospective user is under 18, we do not create a standalone account for them. Instead, we require a parent or legal guardian to complete registration by providing their email address and verifying it through a confirmation email we send, confirming that they are the parent or legal guardian of the minor, and providing their own date of birth. Only after the adult verifies their email and confirms their status does the adult become the Account Holder, who may then create and control Junior Access for the minor.

Verifiable parental consent. We collect a Minor's information only from or through the Guardian. By completing the registration and email-verification steps described above, and by creating Junior Access or entering a Minor's information, the Guardian represents that they are the Minor's parent or legal guardian, that they have the authority to consent to our collection, use, and storage of the Minor's information as described in this Privacy Policy, and that they provide that consent. For children under the age of 13, we obtain verifiable parental consent from the Guardian through this process before enabling the ongoing collection of the child's information, we keep a record of the consent, and we do not condition a child's participation on the disclosure of more information than is reasonably necessary. Because establishing an account requires the Guardian to complete a paid Subscription through our payment processor using a payment card, that payment provides an additional method of verifying parental consent.

Information relating to Minors. The information associated with a Junior may include the Junior's first name or display name, login credentials the Guardian creates, the Guardian's configuration and permission choices, the Junior's own riding, training, and goal notes, information about horses the Guardian assigns to the Junior, and limited technical and usage information necessary to operate and secure Junior Access. The Guardian controls what a Junior can see and enter and may choose to hide financial, cost, or budgeting information from the Junior.

How we use Minors' information. We use a Minor's information only to provide and secure the Services for that Junior under the Guardian's account, to support the Guardian, and to comply with law. We do not require a Minor to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary; we do not use a Minor's information for our own marketing; we do not send marketing communications to Minors; and we do not direct behavioral or targeted advertising to Minors or knowingly allow third parties to do so through the App. We do not use third-party product analytics tools to collect personal information through Junior Access.

Guardian rights over a Minor's information. As the Guardian, you may, at any time: review the personal information we hold about your Minor; request that we correct it; request a copy of it in a portable format; refuse to permit its further collection or use; and revoke Junior Access and request deletion of the Minor's personal information. You can exercise many of these controls directly in the App by editing or deleting records and by managing or removing Junior Access, and you may contact us at the address in Section 26 for assistance. We may need to verify your identity and your relationship to the Minor before acting on a request.

Removing a Minor's content. A Guardian (or, where applicable under state law, the Minor) may request the removal of content or information the Minor has posted or provided through Junior Access. You can remove much of this content yourself directly in the App by editing or deleting records or by removing Junior Access, and you may contact us at the address in Section 26 for assistance. Removal may not be complete or possible where you have shared the content elsewhere, where it has been de-identified or aggregated, or where we are required or permitted to retain it under applicable law.

What happens to a Minor's data. If you revoke a Junior's access, the Junior can no longer sign in, and you continue to control the associated records. If you delete Junior Access, or if your account is closed or deleted, we will delete or de-identify the Minor's personal information in accordance with Section 17, except where we are required or permitted to retain certain information by law. Sensitive Information relating to a Minor is handled with the security measures described in Section 19.

If a minor has provided information without a Guardian. If you believe that a minor has provided us with personal information without the involvement of a Guardian, or that we have otherwise collected a child's information in a manner inconsistent with this Section, please contact us at the address in Section 26, and we will take reasonable steps to delete that information as required by law.

17.Data Retention

We retain Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Services, maintain your account, fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, and comply with our legal obligations. Our retention practices are designed to remain flexible as the App grows and our Services evolve.

While your account is active. We retain the account, horse, health, document, financial, and related records you create so that they remain available to you in the App.

Account and data deletion. You may request deletion of your account and the Personal Information associated with it at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 26 or by using any account deletion feature made available in the App. When you delete specific records within the App, we remove them from your active account in the ordinary course.

Junior data on revocation or deletion. If you revoke a Junior's access, you retain control of the associated records, and the Junior simply loses the ability to sign in. If you delete Junior Access, we delete or de-identify the personal information specific to that Junior (such as their login and personal notes) in the ordinary course, subject to any legal obligation to retain it. If your account is closed or deleted, all Junior Access ends and associated Minor information is deleted or de-identified together with your account data.

Retention for legal and business reasons. Following a deletion request or account closure, we may retain certain information where required or permitted—for example, to comply with legal, tax, accounting, or recordkeeping obligations; to resolve or defend against disputes; to prevent fraud and abuse; to maintain the security and integrity of the App; and to enforce our agreements—only for as long as reasonably necessary.

Backups. Residual copies of deleted information may remain in our backup or log systems for a limited period before being overwritten or securely deleted in the normal course of our system operations.

Aggregated and de-identified information. We may retain aggregated or de-identified information that no longer identifies you or any Minor for the purposes described in Section 18.

18.Aggregated and De-Identified Data

We may create, use, and retain aggregated, de-identified, or anonymized data derived from information processed through the App, provided that such data does not identify you, any Junior, or any other individual. We may use this data for analytics, reporting, business intelligence, product development and improvement, benchmarking and industry insights, and other legitimate business purposes.

We retain all right, title, and interest in aggregated, de-identified, and anonymized data, and this Privacy Policy does not restrict our use or disclosure of it. We will maintain and use such data only in a de-identified or aggregated form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except as necessary to verify our de-identification processes or as required by applicable law.

19.Security

We take the security of your information seriously and maintain administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect Personal Information, including Sensitive Information and information relating to Minors, against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. These measures include:

Encryption of data in transit using standard transport security protocols, and protection of data at rest within our Supabase-managed hosting, database, and storage environment.

Storage of account passwords using industry-standard hashing rather than in plain text.

Access controls that limit access to Personal Information to authorized personnel and service providers who need it to operate the App and support our Users, and permission-based controls that limit what each Junior can access.

Use of reputable infrastructure and service providers that maintain their own security programs.

Ongoing efforts to monitor, maintain, and improve the security of the App.

No method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You play an important role in protecting your information and your family's information: please use a strong, unique password, keep your credentials confidential, manage Junior Access carefully, and notify us promptly if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account. If we become aware of a security incident that affects your Personal Information, we will respond in accordance with applicable law.

20.Your Rights and Guardian Rights

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your Personal Information. These may include the right to:

Access the Personal Information we hold about you and obtain information about how we process it.

Correct inaccurate or incomplete Personal Information. Much of your information can be reviewed and updated directly within the App.

Delete your Personal Information, subject to certain exceptions where we are required or permitted to retain it.

Restrict or object to certain processing of your Personal Information.

Port your Personal Information by receiving it in a portable format, where applicable.

Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, including by changing your browser's camera permission and by revoking Junior Access.

Opt out of marketing. Where we send promotional or marketing communications, you may opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions or by contacting us; you will continue to receive service-related communications.

Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority or regulator if you believe our processing violates applicable law.

Guardian rights. As a Guardian, you may exercise the above rights with respect to a Minor's information, as described in Section 16, including accessing, correcting, exporting, and deleting that information and revoking Junior Access.

You can exercise many of these rights directly within the App by reviewing, editing, or deleting records and by managing browser permissions and Junior Access. To make a request you cannot complete in the App, contact us at the address in Section 26. We may need to verify your identity (and, for requests about a Minor, your relationship to the Minor) before responding, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

21.California Privacy Rights

This section provides additional information for California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (together, the "CCPA").

Categories of information. In the preceding twelve months, we may have collected the following categories described in the CCPA: identifiers (such as name, email address, and account or device identifiers); commercial information (such as any Subscription and records of expenses you maintain); internet or other electronic network activity information (such as usage and diagnostic information); and other information you provide in your records, which may include health-related information about horses, documents, and financial information you choose to store. We collect this information for the business purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

Sources and disclosure. We collect this information from you, from any Junior you authorize, from your use of the App, and from our service providers. We may disclose this information to service providers for business purposes, as described in Sections 14 and 15.

No sale or sharing. We do not sell your Personal Information or a Minor's information, and we do not share Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under the CCPA. We have not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

Sensitive personal information. We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that would require us to offer a right to limit such use under the CCPA.

Your California rights. Subject to certain exceptions, California residents have the right to know what Personal Information we collect, use, and disclose; to request deletion; to request correction; and not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising their rights. To exercise these rights, contact us at the address in Section 26. You may use an authorized agent, subject to verification.

22.International Users

Catch Ride LLC is based in the United States, and Own is operated from and hosted in the United States. Own is intended primarily for users in the United States. If you access or use the App from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and potentially in other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate, which may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country.

By using Own, you consent to the transfer of your information to the United States and other jurisdictions as described in this Privacy Policy. Where required by applicable law, we take appropriate steps to ensure your information receives an adequate level of protection when transferred internationally. Certain non-U.S. privacy laws (for example, the EU/UK GDPR or other state privacy laws) may provide additional rights; where those laws apply to us, we will honor the rights they require, and additional or superseding terms may apply.

23.Business Transfers

As our business develops, we may engage in transactions such as a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, sale of some or all of our assets, or a similar transaction, or take steps in preparation for one, including in the context of insolvency or bankruptcy. In connection with any such transaction, Personal Information may be transferred to, or reviewed by, the parties involved, including successors or assigns, as part of the assets of the business.

If such a transaction occurs, the recipient will be bound by commitments consistent with this Privacy Policy, or we will notify you and, where required, obtain your consent before your Personal Information becomes subject to a materially different privacy policy. We will provide notice of any change in the entity responsible for your Personal Information as required by applicable law.

24.Governing Law

This Privacy Policy, and any dispute arising out of or relating to it, is governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of South Carolina, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles, consistent with the governing-law provisions of our Terms and Conditions. 25.Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, the Services, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. When we make changes, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this Privacy Policy.

If we make material changes, we will take additional steps to notify you as appropriate and as required by applicable law, which may include providing notice within the App, by email, or through other reasonable means. Where a change materially affects the information of Minors, we will seek any parental consent required by applicable law. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

Your continued use of Own after an updated Privacy Policy becomes effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the update, to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you do not agree, you should stop using the App and may close your account.
